This page says exactly what VOID256 keeps about you, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Pragmio, Owocowy Sad 24/2, 05-500 Piaseczno, Poland. Contact: hello@void256.com. We are the controller of the data below.
Your account
- From Google: your Google account ID, email address and name. We don't keep your profile picture or any Google access tokens.
- A session record, so you stay signed in. It ends when you sign out, or after 30 days without a visit.
- When your account was created, when you last visited, and your browser's preferred language.
Your House
- The House's name and motto, which you write. On the ledger they are encrypted with a key that belongs to your House, together with a fingerprint of the name that keeps it unique forever.
- The House's sigil, its Port, its Steward, and everything it does in the game. These are recorded in the ledger under the House's number, never under your name or email.
- A signing key for your House. We hold it for you, encrypted, and use it only when you act while signed in.
Why
To run your account and your House, which is what you ask for when you sign in and found one (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We don't use your data for advertising and we don't share it with advertisers.
Game history and AI
The ledger — what Houses do, under their numbers — may be used to train AI systems, by us or by others we license it to. Names and mottos are not part of this. If you don't agree, don't found a House; you can ask us at any time to stop using your House's history for training from then on.
Where it is
On our own server in Poland, in the EU. Google handles the sign-in itself under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
Only the cookies sign-in needs: the session cookie, and short-lived cookies that protect the sign-in against forgery. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party scripts.
How long
Until you delete your account. Write to hello@void256.com and we delete it within 30 days.
What deletion means here
We delete your account and destroy your House's key, so its name and motto can never be read again. The House's history stays in the ledger under its number, because the ledger is never rewritten, but nothing in it says who you were. The name stays retired: on the wall at Last Light it shows as scratched out.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can object to how we use it. Write to hello@void256.com. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, UODO (uodo.gov.pl).
